Welcome back everyone!  MAD Boosters is looking forward to an exciting 2012-13 school year.  Some of our familiar events like Arts Fest, Special Person's Day, 50/50's, our 2nd Annual K-12 Talent Show, Scholarships, etc. are back on the calendar.  We have also begun selling our raffle tickets for your chance to win an autographed Joe Bonamassa guitar (see picture for details) .... so hurry and get your tickets!!  Our first meeting will be Thur. 9/20 at 7:00 in the high school library.  The more support we have, the more we hopefully can do for the kids!  Help us make M.A.D. not only stand for Music, Art, and Drama, but also Making A Difference! 

Everyone is welcome to join us, and participate in, our first school-wide Talent Show / Art Show on Friday May 11th at 7:00 in the auditorium.  This is going to be the perfect ending to an exciting day at the school as the elementary Arts Fest / Special Person's Day will be taking place earlier that day.  The PTSO will also be kicking off their "BOGO Free" Book Sale this night.  We would love to see everyone come out and enjoy the full day of events!

The high school Arts Fest took place on March 30th and was another success.  Thank you to all of our volunteers and clinicians for making it a special day for our students.  Make sure you take a look at the slide show below.

A HUGE thank you to the whole school community that has supported MAD Boosters and our fundraisers over the last couple of years (50/50 raffles at concerts and plays, the Leon Etienne illusion show, and the Inca Son performance).  MAD Boosters has been able to do so much more the past couple of years to support the arts in NY Mills with your help.  We have been able to give 4 scholarships per year, support field trips, host a drum corp during Drums Along The Mohawk each year, put on Arts Fest / Special Persons Day for both high school and elementary each year, fund cast parties, and so much more.  We just raffled $1,075.00 throughout January and sponsored a bus trip to NYC to see "Wicked" on Broadway and ate dinner at Planet Hollywood.  With MAD Boosters supplementing the cost for NY Mills students, they could have paid as little as $50.00 for the day in NYC.  We look forward to your future support so we can continue to support the children and community of NY Mills!
